Coil details
25.4mm tube (1″) heater coil with fireguard
A fireguard will enhance the thermo-syphon effect of your heater coil, containing the heat of the fire and channeling airflow more effectively.
The heater coil: 6 metres of 1 inch (25.4mm) stainless 304 steel tube (with a 1.5mm wall)
inner diameter – 300mm outer diameter (including the fireguard) – approx. 362mm
approx. 170-230mm (6 coils) high – works well with both wood and charcoal
comes with 300mm tails (tail length is measured from the outermost edge of the coil to the end of the tail).
The fireguard: made from 0.9mm stainless steel sheet fitted and welded around the coil.
Tankkd Green Label
-Made with G90 steel = galvanised steel that has been subjected to a chemical process to prevent rusting.
-20GA Base and 22GA side walls = The side walls of the Tankkd Green label are slightly thinner than those of the Tankkd Black Label

-Each tank has steel piping that runs all the way around the tank for extra stability.
– fitted with a screw cap to drain off water
– The Oval tanks are available in a variety of lengths to suit the above coil starting from 4foot to 6 foot
SAFETY INFO
HOT TUB COIL SAFETY INFORMATION
Placement & Stability
Ensure the coil is positioned a safe distance from your hot tub, on stable and secure ground. Take extra care when using the heater coil in areas where children or animals may be present—safety must always be the priority. All attachments, connectors, and high-temperature hoses should remain well clear of any open flames.
Pre-Use Safety Check
Before firing the coil, carry out a brief common-sense safety inspection. Confirm the heater is set away from walkways, flammable materials, or anything that could tip, melt, or ignite.
Water Flow Requirements (Preventing Dry Firing)
Your cold-water inlet and hot-water outlet must remain below the water level of your hot tub at all times during use.
If the waterline falls below the coil’s hot-water outlet, circulation will stop and water will sit inside the coil. This trapped water can become extremely hot.
This condition—known as dry firing—is dangerous and can result in scalding hot water or steam erupting from the outlet.
For Stock Tank Hot Tubs
If using a stock-tank style tub, position the hot-water outlet connection below the top ripples inside the tank to maintain safe water circulation.
